Spin is an open-source command-line tool.

The Spin CLI does not collect, transmit, or store personal information.

Templates, registries, and generated projects remain under your control.

The Spin CLI does not collect:

• Personal information
• Usage analytics
• Telemetry
• Project contents
• Source code
• Template data

No information is sent to Spin by default.

Registries

Spin supports Git-based and local registries.

When you add or update a Git registry, Git communicates directly with the hosting provider (such as GitHub or a self-hosted Git server).

Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Generated Projects

Projects generated by Spin are created entirely on your local machine.

Spin does not upload or inspect generated files.

Third-Party Services

If you visit the Spin website or documentation, third-party services such as GitHub or your hosting provider may process information according to their own privacy policies.

Open Source

Spin is open source.

Anyone can inspect the source code to verify how it works.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Spin evolves.

Changes will be reflected on this page.
